As we enter our third year at HadiCare, we wanted to reflect on the past year and celebrate what we do, our team, and the people we care for. In the last 12 months, we grew our HadiCare team to support the demand for more homecare services across Leeds, celebrated the team’s personal successes, and won an award for the second year running.

Let’s take a closer look at our year in review.

Our HadiCare family got bigger

As a brilliant home care provider in Leeds, we pride ourselves on offering a home care service that is caring, reliable, and tailored to individual family needs. There are no one-size fits, and since the Covid pandemic, we have seen a rise in the number of families looking for care at home rather than in a residential setting care home.

In fact, we now care for twice as many families in their homes compared to the beginning of 2022, with double the staff enabling us to offer this care.

With this shift in the market and people’s attitudes, the health and social care sector is under immense pressure, and with an aging population, we anticipate a similar pattern and demand heading into 2023. We will continue to employ and train our home care workers to support many more adults and young people with their care needs.

Top 20 Home Care Provider Awards 2022 – Yorkshire & The Humber

We were over the moon to have won the Top 20 Home Care Provider Award for Yorkshire & The Humber in 2021, so you can imagine how excited we were to learn we won this award for a second year running!

These annual Home Care Awards recognise 20 of the top-rated home care providers across the regions in the UK, based on reviews from service users and their families or friends.

Reward & Recognition

The growth of HadiCare, the awards, and everything else has only been possible because of our incredibly caring and professional team of carers and registered managers.

To show our gratitude and appreciation, we decided to host our own awards dinner. We booked the wonderful Shimlas for some truly delicious food, and the space to share our awards.

There are sacrifices made daily to provide a high level of brilliant care, so there were many awards handed out across the company to recognise their outstanding service, hard work, and care provided, with most of our employees always going above and beyond.

We truly are blessed to have such a fantastic, brilliant team at HadiCare – where everyone really is family! Thank you all.

We also want to say a huge congratulations to three of our amazing, brilliant team for achieving their promotions this year:

• Kiran Shafiq has been promoted from Home Care Assistant to Care Co-ordinator
• Kirsty Ward has been promoted from Home Care Assistant to Field Care Supervisor
• Iram Khan has been promoted from Home Care Assistant to Senior Carer

Well done to you all. We are excited to see further career progression and growth in 2023.

Community Fundraiser

We were given the opportunity to support a life-changing initiative through The Akhirah Team and the Nanu Sports Foundation. A football tournament was organised where young people from different communities all came together to compete whilst raising money to support those in need. A great and successful event for a great cause in the local community which we just love to be part of and look forward to continuing our support throughout 2023.

Going into 2023

As with everything in life, we are always learning and growing – as individuals, as a team, and as a family.
